At St. Elizabeth, we have numerous activities and sports that provide growth opportunities and assist in forming leadership. Working together, our students learn to accept the talents and gifts of others by participating in activities that promote the acquisition of social skills, while pursuing shared objectives.
The athletics program is led by Athletics Director, Will Cervenka, who administers the physical education and health classes. The Athletic Director also serves as the school’s representative for the Dallas Parochial League and oversees the formation of all Saints teams.
Students in grades five through eight are encouraged to participate in team sports through our Saints athletics program.
In addition, football is available to students in grades 5 – 8 in partnership with Bishop Dunne Catholic School. If you are interested in playing football for Dunne please email Coach Cervenka and he will provide the necessary contact information.
Soccer is usually available for grades Pre-K – 8 in the spring but only PK-4 during the fall.
All other DPL sports are available to grades 5 – 8 only. Students in grades 5 and 6 compete at the Junior Varsity level. Students in grades 7 and 8 compete at the Varsity level. Following each sports season, a school-wide pep rally is held to reward our JV and Varsity athletes with a commemorative pin.
St. Elizabeth’s takes enormous pride in its winning legacy that has garnered six Dallas Parochial League championships over the past five years in addition to the honor of receiving the DPL All Sports Championship two consecutive years. Championship banners hang in the gymnasium as a tribute to our many athletes, present and past.
Check out the school calendar for Saints games and come out and support all the Saints athletes!
