As Pastor, I’d like to welcome you to St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic School. We are very blessed to have a dedicated faculty and staff, enthusiastic parents, and some of the happiest students I’ve ever met, being formed as joyful disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Mass is celebrated every Friday morning with the school community, as well as on Holy Days of Obligation, and Confession is made available periodically throughout the year. Catholic students are prepared for their First Holy Communion in 2nd grade, and for Confirmation in 8th grade. Beyond this, I make a point of visiting classrooms and the playground from time to time, and hope to teach a few lessons at opportune times throughout the year.
Our School is an apostolate of the Parish, and it is important to me that we foster an environment where the Faith can flourish. Of course, parents are the primary educators of their children, so it is imperative that they lead by example in the practice of the Faith.
If you’re new to the school, or considering enrolling your child, or are interested in becoming Catholic or returning to the Church, please feel free to reach out to me directly.
Yours in Christ,
Fr. Emmett
