As mandated by the Diocese of Dallas any adult (which includes aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc.) who wishes to volunteer at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic School is required to go through our screening process. The following is required.
- Completed On-Line Screening Form on the cathdal.org Safe Environment page. Once you have completed the screening form press submit.
- Then, read the Diocesan Safe Environment Program. Once you have read this document print and sign the Acknowledgement Form (page 20). This will need to be turned in to the office.
- A $15 fee will need to be submitted to St. Elizabeth School in order to run a Criminal Background Check. When the fee is received we will request the background check. When the clearance letter has been received from Accutrak and your references have been checked, you will need to come in for an interview and watch the Family of Faith training video. Please notify your references that they will be contacted.
Once the initial screening process has been completed each volunteer will be required to go through some type of yearly training which is determined by the Safety Director of the school. Criminal Background Checks are updated every two years.
