St. Elizabeth School depends on parent and family participation. Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in any of the parent groups or volunteer opportunities which support and strengthen the school programs. In the spirit of cooperation and commitment, all St. Elizabeth School families are asked to contribute at least 25 volunteer hours to the school to support and enhance the educational environment for our students. The Mother’s Club is open to all mothers/guardians of St. Elizabeth students and alums. Members assist St. Elizabeth administration, faculty, and staff through service, fundraising support, and volunteering, as needed. We encourage all St. Elizabeth mothers to attend our monthly meetings, and there are many ways to participate!
The Dads’ Club is a service organization open to all fathers or guardians of current and former St. Elizabeth students who have a desire to assist and enhance St. Elizabeth Catholic School. Dads’ Club volunteers and resources assist St. Elizabeth by volunteering at athletic events, helping at social events, and “manpower” for school fundraisers.
The Advisory Council develops policy that supports the Mission Statement and Philosophy of St. Elizabeth School. The Advisory Council and its various committees advise and report to the pastor and principal on school financial, volunteer, marketing and policy matters. The Advisory Council consists of nine voting members, of which six are elected by the current Council and three are appointed by the pastor. The voting members serve a three year term. The non-voting, ex-officio members are the principal, the pastor, and the school Development Director. The school athletic director and faculty representatives also attend the monthly meetings.
Athletic Booster Club
The St. Elizabeth Athletic Booster Club provides a unique opportunity for parents to be involved in the school’s physical education and athletic programs. The Booster Club works directly with the school’s athletic director and principal in making our physical education and athletic programs and events a success. The club is responsible for fundraising, upgrading our physical education department equipment, improving the athletic fields on campus, and the overall spirit and sportsmanship of our school community. Booster Membership and monthly meetings are open to the school community. There are numerous opportunities for parents to get involved and volunteer with the Booster Club.
Other Volunteer Opportunities
The school has many opportunities for talented parents. Typically these include room parents, clinic volunteers, technology volunteers, playground/cafeteria supervisors, library volunteers, and coaches for athletic teams and other extra-curricular activities.
