We encourage all families to consider opening an account even if you plan on having your child bring a sack lunch. Usually, emergencies arise (forgotten lunches) and, instead of calling a parent at work, the child can simply purchase a lunch with their already established account!
- The system works similar to a debit card system with all transactions being handled by computer.
- You may pay for lunches with cash, check, or credit card.
- This money is deposited to each child’s Twelve Oaks Catering account for purchases in the cafeteria.
- As your child comes through the food line, the amount of his/her purchase is deducted by computer from their account.
When the balance drops below $15, you will receive a notice in your child’s weekly school information folder.
Checks ($50 minimum) should be made to “Twelve Oaks Catering.” If you use your credit card, Twelve Oaks Catering will automatically activate a $50 charge when the Twelve Oaks Catering account falls below $15. You will receive a notice sent home in the weekly folder advising you that your credit card has been billed.
The computer system gives us full accountability to the parent and to the school. If you want a printout of your child’s food purchases for any month, please ask the cafeteria manager. You may go the cafeteria any time and view the purchase and deposits on the computer screen.
Twelve Oaks asks that each student have an account and not bring cash daily. Change is not readily available.
