Math:

5th Grade - We are working on the world of fractions.  We are adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions.

6th Grade – We are working on fractions, ratios, proportions and percents.  We are using our new knowledge to price groceries and figure out sales tax.

Science:

In science we are working on our science fair experiments.  5th grade is the first year we present our work to the judges for ribbons, so the competition is really heating up! In February we will be moving on to Earth Science and the changes to the Earth’s crust.  Excitement is building as we get closer to our trip to the Pines in May.
