Mrs. Connelly – Pre-k Computer

Computer students in grades PK-3^rd are having a fantastic year so far.  I am constantly amazed at what St. E’s kids can do.

PK and Kindergarten students have mastered the proper use of the mouse. 1st grade students can log on and off the Internet typing program, Dance Mat Typing, and have progressed to levels 2 and 3.  Students have improved their hand placement on the keyboards and exhibit proper computer posture.  Please have your student practice keyboarding over the Spring Break.

2^nd grade students are composing stories to match made-up zoo animals (switchzoo.com), and will then print their stories.  3^rd grade students are learning Power Point.  They will be working on a 7 slide Power Point show to be presented in May.
