In chapters 6 and 7, students will analyze the cultural contributions of classical Greece including contributions in politics, science, arts and architecture, and intellectual life. They will also learn about daily life, culture, religion, government, and economy in ancient Greece.
7th Grade Texas History
We are currently in the last two chapters of Unit 3, which deals with the Mexican government attempting to persuade Americans to settle in Texas and live as Mexican citizens. These settlers soon rebel against Mexico’s authority. Next, we will be in Unit 4 and we will be discussing how Texas fights for its Independence. We will be doing a huge project during the unit. More information will come home during that particular lesson.

Chapter 6 presents an overview of the American Revolution; including the regional battles, the Declaration of Independence, and the final campaigns and alliances that ultimately defeated the British and created a new nation.
