Posted on September 24, 2009, by Kathy Strunk, under Pre-kindergarten.
Welcome new parents to Saint Elizabeth School.
PRE-K had a great time doing the Boosterthon Fun Run!! It was a great way of starting off the school year with Saints Pride.
During Religion time we are learning how to be friends of Jesus and that God made each and every one of us special. We have also learned about the creation story.
We have been having a great time during Language Arts. We have been reading books, singing songs and learning finger plays.
We have been working hard with shapes and counting one to five at Math class. We are also sorting objects.
In Social Studies we are learning about manners and when to use them. We have also practiced our class procedures, cafeteria procedures, how to line up procedures.
The primary colors are our focus in Science.
Exercise is what we do in PE besides play games.
The children have also been busy going to their specials. It seems everyone likes to go to their specials, Spanish, Library and Computers.
The best was Teddy Bear Day! We had a great time and the picnic was lovely.
