New Family Finder Discount Program
As we prepare for the next school year, we would like to announce a new program. If you refer a new family that enrolls a student for the 2016-17 school year and stays enrolled through December 2016, the referring family will receive a $200 credit that can be used for tuition or registration for the following school year (2017-18). When your referral applies online, be sure that they submit your name as the referral source. If you have any questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call (214) 331-5139.
Booster Club Scholarship Application Deadline Friday
The Saints Athletic Booster Club is proud to announce the Saints Pride Scholarship Program to recognize student athletes. Up to $1,000 in total scholarships will be awarded to athletes in the 2016-2017 school year. The Saints Athletic Booster Club will announce the winners of the scholarships in May. Scholarships will be applied directly to the student’s tuition account. Lets Cheer Our Playoff Soccer Team!
Our JV Saints are in the soccer playoffs and we need your help to cheer them on as they face St. Monica at Bishop Dunne at noon, on Saturday, May 14! Feel free to bring your St. E spirit and wear your St. E apparel! Cowbells are optional. #SaintsPride
A Night of Jazz, Blues, and Swing!
Students in grades 5 – 8 will present their spring concert on Thursday, May 12, at 7 p.m. They have been practicing hard and are very excited to show off their talent! The Reader’s Fair boards will be out as well. So, before and after the concert, you can also peruse the halls lined with boards covering many books read by our students. NJHS Canned Food Drive Ends Friday
NJHS is hosting a canned food drive, benefiting the North Texas Food Bank through Friday, May 13. If you have any questions, please contact Holly Rice.
Free Chess Tournament, May 12
There will be a free speed chess tournament today, from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m., for all students who registered before the May 6 deadline. A brief award ceremony will precede the final game, and trophies will be awarded for the top 3 participants for the Junior and Senior divisions.
Benefit Car Wash
Does your car need a bath? The 4th grade is hosting a car wash on Saturday, May 14, from 8 – 12 p.m., at Pep Boys on 3120 Fort Worth Ave, to fundraise for their trip to the Pines, next year. $5 for sedans and $10 for SUVs and trucks. Donations are greatly appreciated! If you have any questions, please contact room parents, Delia Aillon or Martha Nigo.
Middle School Dance, May 21
The middle school and 5th graders and invited to the last school dance of the year in the gym on Saturday, May 21 from 6 – 10 p.m. There will be a professional DJ, food, snacks, cash prize raffle, gift card door prizes, and a free salsa lesson! All proceeds benefit the 7th grade class burse. $10 in advance, $15 at the door. The dance permission slip must be completed and returned to the front desk, for students to attend the dance!
